Employee New Hire Packet

What should a “New Hire Packet” contain? Federal W-4, State W-4, and Form I-9 at a minimum – but that really isn’t enough information to keep on file.  You, as well as your bookkeeper needs to have more information about a new employee than what is available on these forms. Utilize our New Hire Checklist” to provide your bookkeeper with additional information about the employee.

Word format, so you can easily add additional information and customize it to suit the needs of your business.

  • Hi Michelle
Thanks for the great compliment 🙂 Communication and organization are tough – we’re all so busy – and it’s so easy to overlook things. Lists like this are great tools. These actually originated back in the days that I was a bookkeeper and would go in once a week for some of my smaller contractors, they’d leave me what they felt was the right amount of information, but they always left something out that I needed. These lists provided them with a way to give me everything that I needed so I could get things set up correctly and not have to chase down the missing info.
